Platform
Core capabilities
Aurora AI
Get clear, plain-language guidance about your survey setup, processing choices, outputs, and deliverables.
Corrections
Apply diurnal correction, IGRF removal, and fixed regional/residual separation to condition your magnetic data.
Residual mapping
Review line profiles and supported residual maps from the uploaded survey data and fixed regional/residual workflow.
Interactive visualisation
Review your results through map overlays, profile views, and interpretation-focused summaries in a cleaner visual workspace.
Multi-format export
Deliver client-ready PDF reports, CSV bundles, and map image packages directly from the same project workflow.
End-to-end workflow
From raw survey CSV to final deliverable - everything happens in one place, no specialist software needed.

Reference files (optional)
Upload reports, field notes, maps, shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML/KMZ, or other project materials that should be considered during reporting.
Use for multiple traverses, multiple uploaded files, or one file with a line/traverse ID column.
Upload survey data
CSV, XLSX, XLS, ASC, GRD, TXT, DAT, XYZ, and TSV files are supported. Single-line mode accepts one survey file.
Column mapping
Upload a survey file above to map its columns.

Add elevation, sensor height, or GPS timing only when those columns are useful for this task.

Time and correction support
Choose the survey date, then map split hour, minute, and second columns if the raw data includes acquisition time. Raw data can still be saved without time fields, but diurnal correction may use fallback behavior.
Upload a file above to map time columns.

Base station readings
Base station rows can be detected automatically, or you can confirm this upload has no base station readings.
Automatic detection
Use labels, internal base-station markers, and repeated reference coordinates.
No base station rows
Confirm this upload has no base station readings.
Analysis Configuration
Configure corrections and derived magnetic outputs for this task.
A - Processing / Corrections
Corrections are applied before regional/residual separation.
✓
Diurnal correction
Removes daily geomagnetic drift using base station readings where available.
✓
IGRF removal
Subtract International Geomagnetic Reference Field station-by-station from coordinates and survey date. Requires survey date.
Date source
Survey date
Computed station-wise from coordinates and survey date. Elevation uses mapped elevation, reference elevation, or a documented 0 m default with warning.
B - Regional / Residual Output
Generate the regional and residual magnetic fields from DCR using the fixed station-trend workflow.
Reduction to Pole
Transforms magnetic anomalies toward a pole-equivalent response using magnetic inclination and declination.
Surface/grid data is preferred. Single-line RTP is flagged as limited.
Analytic Signal
Highlights magnetic source edges using combined horizontal and vertical gradients. Single-line output is labelled as a profile proxy.
First Vertical Derivative
Enhances shallow magnetic sources and short-wavelength anomaly changes. Profile data uses a derivative proxy.
Second Vertical Derivative
Further emphasizes shallow, short-wavelength anomalies but is highly noise-sensitive.
Horizontal Derivative
Measures lateral magnetic field change along profile or across a surface.
Total Horizontal Gradient
Highlights lateral magnetic gradients and possible source boundaries. Single-line output uses abs(dT/dx).
Tilt Derivative
Normalizes vertical derivative response against horizontal gradient. FVD and THG are computed internally if needed.
